What are your rates?
I currently operate on a sliding scale for all appointments.
For flash designs: $25-$40 per hour
For custom designs: $35-$50 per hour
Why a sliding scale? I want to make sure that my rates are accessible and also feel fair to the individuals being tattooed, and I feel like a sliding scale is a great way to start that. A sliding scale allows you, the person being tattooed, to decide how much to pay for my services, while also allowing for me to be reimbursed for my time and supplies. I want budget and payment for tattooing to remain an open conversation between my clients and me. Please feel free to bring up any budget concerns or questions with me at any time.
What are some things that you love or want to tattoo?
Animals, plants, fungi, bugs and insects, abstract designs, flowers, stars and celestials, the sun and the moon, whimsical twists on animals (ex. bear holding a star, cow with wings), personified objects and plants, fish, statues, birds, 70s patterns and wallpapers, small landscapes / vignettes, houses and buildings, unique objects, and pet portraits
What are some things that you will not tattoo?
I will not tattoo script/quotes/text, portraits, realistic people or most human subjects, or hate symbols. I always have the right to say no to a design idea or project. At this time, I do not offer cover-ups of existing tattoos, as I am still learning and do not feel like that is within my skillset at this time.
How do I book with you?
I post on my Instagram and my website when my books are open. If they are open, you can fill out a tattoo inquiry form. All of my available flash designs are listed on my website and on my Instagram in my flash highlights. For flash designs, please take a screenshot of the exact design and attach it in the submission form. For custom designs, please describe your idea and include any applicable reference photos in my form.
If your idea is selected and approved by me, I will send you a link to my Calendly and deposit payment system so that we can schedule an appointment. For each tattoo, I will schedule you for a time slot in hourly increments, which will tell you how many hours you will be charged for (even if we go over time) :) I am also always happy to provide a quote for your design idea, before we book. To lock in your appointment, you must pay your deposit.
Do you require a deposit?
I require a small deposit to lock in your appointment. For flash designs, the deposit is $10. For custom designs, the deposit is $20. The deposit will go towards the final cost of the tattoo.
Your deposit is nonrefundable. I work full time outside of tattooing and have to arrange my schedule to be able to tattoo people, so the deposit acts as a little insurance for me and my time in the event of a cancellation or a no-show.
Do not send me a deposit before I send you a link to my Calendly to officially book with me.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you give me at least 24 hours of notice* before your appointment, I can transfer your deposit and reschedule you. You can reschedule up to 3 times before you will have to forfeit your original deposit.
If you wish to reschedule a 4th time, I will require a second deposit in addition to the original forfeited deposit. At this point, your second deposit will be the only deposit to go to the final cost of your tattoo.
*Except in extreme circumstances, at my personal discretion.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I currently accept cash, card, and Venmo. However, card will include sales tax.
Do you provide touch-ups?
Yes, I will always provide free touch-ups for my work. Especially given that I am a newer artist, I want to make sure clients are left with tattoos that meet their standards, no matter how far out into the future those touch-ups may be. Please feel free to fill out a tattoo inquiry form and specify that you would like a touch-up.
Is there any place on the body that you don't tattoo?
I will not tattoo your face, neck, feet, hands, fingers, nipples, or genitalia.
I am interested in tattooing hands and fingers in the future but will post on my Instagram when I am ready to start taking on those kinds of projects.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive at your appointment on time, hydrated and fed, and in comfortable clothing that can easily access the area of which you are to be tattooed. I will NOT tattoo you if you are not 18+, you appear to be intoxicated, you are sunburnt, or if you have a fresh wound or scratch in the area you are wanting to be tattooed. I reserve the right to decline moving forward with your appointment if at any point you make me feel disrespected or uncomfortable.
A few days before your tattoo, I will send you a consent form. Please have this completed before your appointment, otherwise I will have to have you fill it out before we can continue with the tattoo. You MUST have a valid form of ID to receive your tattoo, as I need this for my records.
I also recommend that clients bring any snacks, water, or comfort items that they may need during the appointment. I do have a small selection of snacks and water for clients to access, as well.
